2008 AWARDS OF EXCELLENCE GALA DINNER 13th September @ Zinc, Federation Square Another fantastic Awards night was enjoyed by 300 Swimming Pool & Spa Association of Victoria industry members and their guests at Zinc, Federation Square on the 13th of September.
The array of entries for the 2008 SPASA Awards of Excellence were simply amazing. But we should learn to stop being dazzled by the diversity and professional excellence produced every year by the members of SPASA.
The market is very buoyant in Victoria and the expertise demonstrated by members continues to impress every year. The Awards of Excellence was hotly contested, and culminated with the announcement of award winners at the Gala Dinner.
The Gala is supported by all leading industry players, including our main sponsors; Remco Australia and POOLSIDE magazine.
Olympian, and SPASA ambassador, Nicole Livingstone continues to MC the industry night-of-nights. The 2008 Awards of Excellence saw the introduction of the inaugural SPASA Sustainability Award, sponsored by The savewater! Alliance.
The introduction of this new category dovetails with the launch earlier this year of the Water Neutral Pool program. Let’s continue to enjoy the enormous community value provided by swimming pools.
